Scottsbluff native finishes in top five at fishing world championships

Western Nebraska native Nate Gloria ends his fishing world championship with a top five overall finish.

Gloria was in Australia for the 8th annual Hobie World Fishing Championships.

Over the three day event, Gloria caught nine fish with an overall weight of 5.32kg (11.72 lb)

That total was good enough for a fourth place overall finish.

He would end up being the top American finisher for the event.

Australia swept the top three positions with Andrew Death taking home the world championship.
