Chris Henry was arrested in July and accused of intentional child abuse with injury as well as a second charge of strangulation; both Class 4 felony charges. According to special prosecutor Douglas Werner, Henry entered a guilty plea for the intentional child abuse charge while the strangulation charge was dismissed.

Both sides will wait for a presentencing report. Once that is handed out and seen by the judge, a date will be set by the judge for Henry’s sentencing. Werner believes that will happen just after the new year.

While there is no minimum to a class 4 felony, there is a max of up to five years in jail.
