PANHANDLE, Neb. - (KNEP) - With the storm here, many residents throughout the panhandle are losing power.
According to Wheatbelt Public Power, they are seeing a number of outages but is unsure exactly when they will have crews out to fix it.
Chimney Rock Public Power is seeing around 200 in their area without power but will wait until the storm subsides before sending crews out to fix the issues.
At this time, Northwest Rural Public Power is reporting outages in Dawes, Box Butte and Sioux County. They are advising they will not send out crews at this time if outages are reported.
Meanwhile, the Nebraska Public Power District is reporting power has been restored to the Minatare area.
