Starting today through December 22nd, residents can stop by Goonies to pick up a stocking with items that the children want for Christmas.

The idea came after JR Plasencio made a GoFundMe page for Heath and Denise Cline wanted to find a way to help the kids.

“It’s extremely important because there are three young children that are involved with the ages of six, three and 18 months old,” said JR Plasencio, Organizer. “There is support from the other part of the family including the fathers but we want to make sure that the kids are going to be taken care of.”

The GoFundMe page has raised over $4,000 so far with a goal of $10,000.

The money raised will be used for the children’s daycare and their necessities.

“We are trying to keep the kids busy and make this Christmas the greatest time for them as we can,” said Denise Cline, Organizer.

The last day to collect the items is December 22nd.

On the same day between 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Goonies, Santa will make a guest appearance.
