The new location for this year’s show is inside the gymnasium at Lincoln Elementary School. Kim Cantrell, who is a quilt show chairman, stated the gym gives them more space for people and their quilts.

This year they have nearly 130 quilts and are working on raffling one off on Sunday. The show is also providing a silent auction.

This year, they are working with the Scotts Bluff National Monument and have a quilt challenge. The quilt challenge had various criteria including placing the 100th year on the quilt. Two winners who contributed to the quilt will receive a special coin from the Monument.

Patrons can head through the door on the west side of the school between noon and 5p Saturday and Sunday to take a look at the quilts.
