SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. A new business is making its way to the City of Scottsbluff.

It is a truck and fuel station that will provide diesel and gasoline, a fast food restaurant, scale for trucks and overnight parking.

“We need the truck parking because with the new regulations with drivers, they are going to need a place to stop and park,” explained Starr Lehl, Economic Development Director.

It will be on the corner of Highway 26 and East Overland; right on the East Overland Corridor.

The cost of this project is $3,000,000. The Owners are taking advantage of the tax income financing which is offering a portion of $900,000.

They are looking to employ 14 people between part, full and management positions.

“We’ve lost a few here and there in over the last year or so,” explained Lehl. “I think the jobs that they are going to create will be good jobs.”

They are expected to see some action within the next couple of months.
