According to Carissa Smith with Firefighter Ministry they are assisting Lilly Voss with temporary living arrangements and repairs to her trailer home.

Voss states part of the roof came off during the August 16th storm and flooded much of her living room. She received help from her relatives who fixed the roof after that storm.

During Tuesday’s storm, Voss said she was in the home with her grandchild when the roof caved in again. Her neighbor stated one of the bricks on top of the roof flew onto her front porch.

As of right now, most of the siding has been torn off the home and the roof is hanging off the side. Insulation is exposed and the ceiling in both bedrooms is caved in.

Scottsbluff Fire Department Chief Tom Schingle states they arrived to the home last night and ultimately got Voss in touch with Firefighter Ministries.
