Two Panhandle counties test negative for West Nile Virus

PANHANDLE, Neb. - (KNEP) - The Panhandle Public Health District stated two other counties tested negative for West Nile.

On July 22, it was found that both Garden and Box Butte counties had tested positive for West Nile Virus. Melissa Haas with the District stated they were waiting to get results on Dawes and Scotts Bluff counties.

Haas revealed to NBC Nebraska on Monday that both test results came back negative for the virus.
