SCOTTS BLUFF COUNTY, Neb. - (KNEP) - Scottsbluff Police detail the reports of vandalism are spread throughout the city with another city seeing a similar pattern earlier this week.

According to Scottsbluff Police Captain Tony Straub, they received a total of eight reported car being vandalized by what appears to be a pellet or BB gun. He details nothing has been stolen from inside the cars and no other property damage consistent to the car reports has been brought to light.

Captain Straub is asking for the public’s help and if you have video surveillance it would provide more evidence into what is going on.

Mitchell Police Department states they saw a similar occurrence Sunday night into Monday with seven cars seeing damage. An officer with the department states the victims were spread throughout the area.

Gering Police reports they have not had any reports yet of car break-ins consistent to BB or pellet guns.
