SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - (KNEP) - The Wing Drug Task Force helps arrest three during three separate busts in Scottsbluff.

According to the affidavit, on Valentine’s Day officers conducted a search of a residence in the 1900 block of 21st Ave and located Misty Yekel trying to run out the back door. Officers caught her and found a blak lock box that contained 23 separate clear plastic bags with a white crystalline substance and a digital scale. The entire amount weighed in at 94.5 grams. Officers found another baggie on her containing 2.6 grams.

On the same day, WING Drug Task Force executed a search of a resident in the 1000 block of 16th avenue. According to the affidavit, Rosa Lara was found inside a locked bedroom. When officers gained entry they located several baggies that field tested positive for methamphetamine. The total weight was about 14.6 grams. They also found a digital scale and $216 in cash. The residence is also less than 200 feet from a park and children’s playground.

The task force was also involved in a controlled by situation that occurred last June with the target Irma Hernandez. These controlled buys occurred on two separate occasions netting .70 grams of methamphetamine.

All three face possession charges and 10% of $100,000 bond.
