WNCC men and women fall in road contests on Monday night

The Western Nebraska Community College men and women's basketball teams in Wyoming on Monday to open the second part of the season.

The WNCC men came up short on their road trip to Cheyenne taking on Laramie County Community College. Cougars would fall on a buzzer beater 93-90. Nebraska recruit Jervay Green led all scorers with 40 points.

WNCC now 12-5 on the season and will return to action Friday night.

The Lady Cougars were across I-25 taking on Casper. The trip not a fun one as they came up short 83-63 to the Lady T-Birds.

WNCC ladies drop to 12-3 on the seaosn and will also return to action Friday night.
