Warrior Run raises around $15,000 for veteran financial support

GERING, Neb. The Veterans and Military Family Emergency Relief Organization hosted their 11th Annual Warrior Run Saturday morning at the Legacy of the Plains Museum.

Over the last 11 years, they have raised over $170,000 to help around 260 local veterans with their utility bills, rent, car repairs and other things. (KNEP)

This fund provides financial support for veterans and military families encountering emergency situations.

With this last run, they raised over $15,000 with just under 100 participants.
