Wyoming Highway Patrol welcomes eighteen new troopers

WYOMING, - (KNEP) - Wyoming Highway Patrol welcomes eighteen new cadets after graduating from academy training.

The members of Class 97 participated in 1,200 hours of academy training and were instructed in a variety of classes including firearms, commercial carrier, physical training, emergency vehicle operation, custody and control and crash investigation.

All troopers take an oath to protect and serve all citizens of Wyoming with courtesy, professionalism and integrity as Wyoming’s Troopers represent the agency brand of ‘Guardians of the Cowboy State.’
All eighteen were sworn in on Friday.
