Collecting durable medical equipment to help others in need

The durable medical items include wheelchairs, walkers, canes, seated walkers, bath benches, toilet risers and commodes. With the donated equipment, it must be operational and contain all of its original pieces.


Sales begin 8 a.m. Nov. 5 at only 3 locations, priced at $30 each and limited to 4 per household.



Two Grand Island teenagers were in Lincoln County Court Monday afternoon and faced charges in the homicide of a North Platte man. The 16-year-old teens both charged with first degree murder and use of a firearm to commit a felony. Both teens were denied bond.


The Goat Expo brought together buyers and sellers at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds, and taught people how to improve their products.
