HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - It’s a wonderful smell as you enter the gates of the Nebraska State fair. No, it’s not the your cologne. It’s the plethora of aromas from the food vendors lining the streets of this 11 day celebration in the heart of Fonner Park. I had the chance to interview one of the many owners that come to the state fair each year to not just make money but to fill the tummies of fair goers looking for a great bite to eat. Check out my interview with Sue Freund, owner of Freund Family Foods, who is now in her 12th year bringing many of the food stands you see each year.
