Man accused of bringing several children to Target to steal from store

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WFSB/Gray News) – A man is accused of bringing several children to a Target in Connecticut to steal from it.
Joshua Middleton, 44, of Springfield, Massachusetts, is charged with risk of injury to a minor.
Middleton was arrested on Sept. 4 for the April 2024 incident.
Police said they determined that Middleton was responsible for taking several children to the Target on Buckland Hills Drive in South Windsor, Connecticut, to steal merchandise.
Middleton left before police arrived, but an arrest warrant was sought.
Police said he turned himself in.
He was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.
Middleton is scheduled to appear court on Sept. 24.
