FURNAS COUNTY, Neb. (KSNB) - Nebraska authorities were still searching for a Beaver City man who had been missing for ten days as of Friday.

Larry Hardenbrook, 78, went missing the evening of January 14. The Furnas County Sheriff said Hardenbrook left on foot that night wearing only a gray sweater, jeans and brown dress shoes. Hardenbrook has Alzheimer's and was wearing a bracelet with his name on it.

In the week following his disappearance Furnas County deputies along with other law enforcement agencies, other county employees and volunteers searched abandoned buildings, overgrown shrubbery, garages, cars and out buildings. Searchers were on horseback, drove ATVs and state troopers brought out K-9s and a helicopter. No sign of Hardenbrook has been found.

On January 17, authorities scaled back the search, but they were still trying to locate the man.

Hardenbrook is a white male, 6' 1", 190 lbs, white hair, blue eyes and a beard.
